Privacy policy

Email Recap, shown as pluginn8n during Google authorization, is a personal automation operated by Roy Gladden for his own Gmail account. It is not a public email service.
Information accessed
With the account owner’s permission, the automation uses Gmail read-only access to retrieve message identifiers, sender and recipient information, subjects, dates, labels, and short message excerpts. The Gmail permission permits reading messages and settings; the configured workflow uses metadata and excerpts to identify correspondence and review or testing offers.
Purpose and use
Rules classify messages, filter likely automated promotions, and prepare short email recaps. Message identifiers prevent repeat processing. The app does not send Gmail messages, change labels, mark messages as read, or delete mail. Email data is not used for advertising, sold, or sent to an AI service for processing or model training.
Storage and retention
Roy’s self-hosted n8n system stores message identifiers, relevant metadata, excerpts, classification reasons, and delivery status. Credentials are stored in n8n’s credential store. Execution history and backups may also contain processed information. Records currently have no automatic deletion period and remain until Roy removes them. Revoking Google access stops future access but does not erase existing local records, backups, or Discord messages.
Discord and other providers
Selected sender details, subjects, excerpts, and message links are transmitted to a private Discord channel configured by Roy. Discord processes and stores these messages under its own policies; anyone granted access to that channel can view them. Google provides Gmail access. Website hosting providers may process ordinary connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to serve and protect these public pages. Mailbox data and credentials are not included in this website.
Control and deletion
Roy can disconnect the Gmail credential, stop the automation, or revoke the app’s access through Google Account connections. Requests concerning information in retained recaps can be sent to the contact below. Local records, backups, and Discord copies must be addressed separately.
Google API data
Email Recap’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
This website
These pages contain no mailbox login form, analytics scripts, or advertising added by Roy. Visiting them does not connect a Gmail account.
